About the Client

Background

Vance, a global platform simplifying international investments, had been running successful campaigns on Meta. However, to further expand its reach among NRI customers in the UK & UAE Vance partnered with us to explore & unlock the potential of Google Ads for targeting NRI customers in the UK.

Objective

To scale Vance’s presence in the UK by driving high-quality customer acquisitions through Google Ads.

Challenges

1. Delayed Campaign Attribution: Late attribution of data made optimizing campaigns difficult.
2. Tracking Issues: Challenges with MMP (Mobile Measurement Partners) integration and accurate tracking for iOS campaigns.
3. Spend Control: Managing budgets across Google’s varied ad inventories.
4. Ad Strength: Ensuring ad groups met Google’s standards for high performance.
5. Targeting with UAC Campaigns: Finding the right audience for Universal App Campaigns (UAC).

Our Approach

We ran separate campaigns for each business goal, focusing on testing one idea at a time. This helped us use the flexible ad format more effectively.

  1. We implemented server-side tracking using Firebase to improve event tracking accuracy.
  2. Leveraged audience signals by using Vance’s existing datasets, relevant keywords, and competitor app/website data to help Google’s machine learning identify high-value users.

Collaborated with the Google team to enable On-Device Conversion (ONDC) measurement, ensuring accurate tracking and optimization for iOS campaigns.

  • Conducted optimizations every 2–3 days at the asset level, replacing underperforming headlines, descriptions, and creatives.
  • Ensured CPA remained under control while maximizing performance.

Ensured all asset requirements, including text, images, and videos, were met for every relevant size to achieve optimal ad group strength.

Ran separate text-only and video-only Universal App Campaigns (UAC) to better control performance across Google Search and Video ad inventories.
